The host was remarkable, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt like home. The old Victorian house featured charming period decor and comfortable suites, making the stay special. A standout aspect was the delicious breakfast, complete with a great selection of homemade products. On another note, navigating to the location was somewhat challenging due to unclear signage, and the lack of direct access on the road could be inconvenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The garden was perfect for unwinding, with cozy seating areas to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The only thing was that the bed was a bit too bouncy for me, but overall, the experience was fantastic! 🌟

Breakfast at Broadlands Gate is a true culinary delight! Each morning, we indulged in a spread of fresh fruit and a glorious full English served on silver platters—absolutely posh, and it felt like a scene from a grand film. Our Deluxe Suite was fabulous, with a living room and even a fridge for late-night snacks. Plus, John’s friendly nature made us feel right at home.
Though the room had a slightly old-school vibe, it only added character. Just keep those windows open for a lovely breeze, and you’re set! Plus, a few tea bags could've been a bit stronger, but it’s nothing a quick shop won’t fix!

The atmosphere in this charming Victorian mansion gives you a glimpse into a bygone era, with beautiful antique decor that adds to its character. Breakfast is a real showstopper, served on silver platters with local produce, and set in a lovely dining area overlooking a meticulously maintained garden.
Finding the place isn't exactly straightforward. the signage could use an upgrade, and the narrow roads leading in are a bit of a challenge. My room had a lingering smell of cigarettes that was a bit off-putting, not exactly what you want to greet you. While the suite is spacious, navigating around could feel cramped at times, especially with larger luggage. It's also worth noting that payment options are limited to cash or bank transfers, which was a surprise given what the website indicated.

The stay had a warm atmosphere with charming decor and delightful breakfast options. While I found the springy bed a bit uncomfortable and the tea selection could use improvement, the thoughtful hospitality from the hosts made it a memorable getaway. a lovely experience in a beautiful location.
